Washington: American Hero is an independent historical biopic that strips away two centuries of legend to reveal George Washington as he actually was — ambitious, conflicted, visionary, and profoundly human. Written and directed by Otto Aouita and produced by Laura Burvill, the film traces the arc of America's most consequential life: from his favorite place in the world — his farm and home at Mount Vernon — to the weight of a presidency he did not ask for.

Spencer Vaughn Kelly leads the film as George Washington. In a role unlike anything in his career, celebrated U.S. Army Sergeant Major Andre “Chef” Rush makes his feature film debut as Chef Hercules Posey — Washington's chef, culinary genius, and one of the most extraordinary figures to emerge from the founding era. His story has never been told like this.

The principal cast includes Monroe Cline as Martha Custis Washington, Mila Harris as Patsy Custis Washington, Ammon Jacob Ford as Alexander Hamilton, and Andrew Steel as Nathanael Greene.
